The Big Bang Theory – What Does Howard’s Mom Actually Look Like?!

One of the biggest mysteries of the awesome show, The Big Bang Theory, is what does Howard’s mom actually look like?!

I love her character and think the relationship between her and Howard is so ridiculous, but is can be so true for many people out there, which makes it even funnier. It’s so hilarious how much Howard depends on his mom, even though he hates to admit how much he loves her, and she really smothers the guy.

In my mind she looks like a VERY larger version of Estelle from Friends. If you’re a fan of that show at all, then you know who I’m talking about. For some reason, I can picture her with the big, poofy hair, a ton of makeup on, a tacky outfit. She’s also got that kind of raspy voice, which can happen from smoking constantly, even though I’m not sure if Howard’s mom smokes, her voice just reminds me of it.

I think the writers keep her hidden because they want the fans to have their own vision of Howard’s mom. I’m sure everyone’s got their own version of her and I think that’s what the writers were trying to get at by not showing us who she really is. I don’t know if they ever plan to, although I wouldn’t mind seeing who they’d cast as her character, but with all that suspense they’ve built up over the last few years, if they ever do, it better be someone worthwhile!
